The entire property provides habitat for a variety of wildlife. Blacktail deer, Roosevelt elk, raccoon, and black bear are frequent visitors. The rare Giant Pacific Salamander has been sighted six times. Other amphibians including Northern red-legged frog, Rana aurora, are resident along the creek and mossy woodlands. There is a wide variety of birds including wrens, hummingbirds, warblers, kinglets, vireos, chickadees, woodpeckers, and raptors. Douglas squirrels and chipmunks harvest spruce cones, and also blossoms of the Chilean Lantern Trees.
